AdBrand Cup
Nigeria 🇳🇬
Founded by Matins Ebuka, the Adbrand Cup became more than just a tournament—it stood as a powerful symbol of identity, hope, and opportunity.
This free competition, generously sponsored by NYSA, opened its doors to boys and girls from all backgrounds, with a special focus on teams from underserved communities. It offered a rare and meaningful stage for young players to shine, dream bigger, and believe in their potential.
The Adbrand Cup gave a voice to those who often go unheard. It ensured that every child who once felt like “nobody” had the chance to be seen, celebrated, and become “somebody.”
With each edition, the Adbrand Cup grew in scale and impact—changing lives, uplifting communities, and igniting futures through the power of football.

Global Leadership & Coach Education
Philippines tour 🇵🇭
Since 2019, Football for Humanity, NYSA Sweden, and local partners have come together to bring lasting impact many areas acoss the Phillippines.
In Zonta Village, Davao City – a vibrant, multicultural community of Muslim, Christian, and Indigenous families – the Play for Goals initiative brought real, tangible change. The team built a children’s library, constructed a five-a-side football pitch, and installed a clean water system—empowering the community through education, sport, and health.
“We now have a space where children read, play, and grow. This was just the beginning.”
— Quintin Pastrana, Library Renewal Partnership
“The pitch helped build confidence and stronger values. Football developed the whole person.”
— Owen Southgate, NYSA Sweden
This partnership proved that when football, learning, and clean water came together—communities didn’t just improve, they thrived.
As part of the initiative, NYSA Sweden led a three-day football coaching course for 27 local coaches from across Mindanao and delivered Skills Skola sessions directly within the community—bringing joy and structured play to local children.
The work extended beyond Zonta Village and continued to ripple across the country, including:
- A three-day certification course for coaches at Ateneo de Davao University and Agro Football Field
- Skills Skola - a creative, street football-inspired program for children
- A leadership seminar led by English FA tutor and NYSA founder Owen Southgate
Since July 2019, NYSA Sweden empowered over 180 coaches throughout the Philippines – each one creating safer, more inclusive spaces for children through the power of play.
