Within athlete care our approach emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive, positive environment to thrive in. This includes addressing not only physical health and injury prevention, but also mental and emotional wellbeing. The focus of our Athlete care identifies that the person has the ability to cope with stress and adversity when they have the skills and resources to improve their overall wellbeing

Embodied sport


Embodied sport is an approach to sports that emphasizes the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and environment in athletic performance. It recognizes that the body and mind are not separate entities but rather work together to produce movement and performance.

In embodied sport, athletes are encouraged to focus on their physical sensations and experiences during training and competition. This includes becoming aware of their breathing, posture, movement patterns, and the physical sensations associated with their sport.

Strength and conditioning

Strength and conditioning (S&C) is a critical component of athletic performance in many sports. It involves a combination of exercises, training techniques, and nutrition strategies designed to enhance an athlete’s physical attributes, such as strength, power, speed, endurance, and agility.
S&C programs are developed based on the specific needs of the athlete and their sport.

For example, a basketball player’s S&C program will differ from that of a sprinter or a weightlifter. An S&C coach will work with the athlete to develop a program that addresses their individual strengths and weaknesses, as well as their competition schedule.

Personal mentoring
