Norrtälje Camp

August 2025

Over the past week, NYSA had the privilege of bringing our coaching team to Norrtälje to deliver a three-day camp in partnership with BKV Norrtälje and Wolves. The aim of the initiative was to collaborate with and support the local community through engaging, high-quality football activities.

Throughout the camp, kids aged 10-14 got exposed and involved to a skill school through a substantial amount of game time where they got to implement their freshly learned skills. The camp placed a special emphasis on Brazilian creativity in football and inspired by our collaboration with Wolverhampton Wanderers, an additional spotlight was on Wolverhampton’s Brazilian players as role models.

Led by much of the same coaching team that worked at our Riga camp earlier this summer, we were dedicated to deliver a high-quality experience to the kids in Norrtälje as well Over three intense days, the kids spent nearly 12 hours on the pitch and despite the intensity and heat, they were always active and engaged. As a result, we could see some great movement and plays from the kids by enabling their creativity which is an experience they could take home and use in their future careers.

Beyond the football itself, the camp was also a meaningful opportunity for us to strengthen our connection with BKV and to engage more closely with the local community. For many of our staff members it was their first visit to Norrtälje and to Campus Roslagen, making it a valuable chance to get to know the city and its football environment better.

We are grateful to BKV Norrtälje for their warm welcome and partnership, and we look forward to building on this collaboration to create more opportunities for young players in the future.
